You must also be a current Kansas Horse Council member.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact our office at 785-776-0662 or e-mail director@kansashorsecouncil.com

General duties & responsibilities of Regional Representatives:

Attend Regional Director/ Representative Meetings to share ideas and information uniting all regions of Kansas. Host regional events, such as a clinic, seminar, trail ride or show/competition. Enroll individuals and families, as well as clubs and associations to be members of Kansas Horse Council. Set up KHC materials, information and membership forms at horse shows, competitions, vet clinics, stores or places horse people in your region frequent.  Keep KHC informed of any regional information about equine activities, shows, rodeos, trail rides, etc. and share local news of equine health issues, local legislation or lawsuits, and local, city or state agencies impacting recreational use areas for the equine industry in your region. Submit articles of interest to KHC to share in the newsletter. Make an effort to meet and develop a working relationship with The Kansas Dept. of Wildlife and Parks directors in your area.  Be available to host an information booth or be present at meetings requesting a representative of Kansas Horse Council. If you don’t have a vast working knowledge yet of Kansas Horse Council, but have interest in stepping up, we welcome your interest.  Knowledge will come through history updates, communication and time.

Be a part of the Kansas Horse Council and make history happen. We are looking for enthusiasm to recruit friends & fellow riders in your area who share similar interests in the equine community.
